Hello, Beautiful People! Happy August! Summer is at its peak at this moment. I hope you’re making the most of the sun and are enjoying your time as best as you could. July was a very interesting and eye-opening month for me. Curious to see what I was up to in July? Keep reading to learn more.
Taking a Break
I spent most of July relatively offline. I ended June feeling like I was crawling to the finish line and feeling really overwhelmed and edging close to burn out. I had already planned on taking that time off, however, I was not expecting how restful and need the break really and truly was. After taking a creative break, I feel a new energy and a new purpose. I feel a lot more level-headed, have so much clarity, and I’m excited to dive into everything again. I’ve learned that productivity goes beyond managing your time it really is about how you manage your energy. Moving forward, I plan on being even more intentional and self-aware so that I can prioritize rest while also still in active pursuit of my goals. Rest is a vital component of the creative process, not a deviation from it. By allowing myself these moments of rest and stillness, I feel as if I was actually investing in my future creative endeavors rather than hindering them.
Business Update: Starting a New Series
In returning back to creating content, I’ve decided to start a new series on Instagram called Energy Decoded. I’m really looking forward to it and I think it will be beneficial to me and the people who are following along. In taking time away, I realized that in order for me to do all of the things that I want to be doing, I need to not only have good time management but also good energy management as well. I’m looking forward to better understanding myself and also really unpacking and uncovering how it is that I am getting to do the things that I do. This exploration into energy management isn’t just about personal growth. It’s about sharing these insights with my community. I’m excited to document this journey and hope that my discoveries can inspire others to find their own balance between productivity and well-being.
Looking Ahead: August is for friendship
In August, I’m trying to prioritize seeing my friends and doing all the things I can do before things get hectic in the Fall. I’m excited to travel a bit, throw a party, and also go to some concerts and live shows! I refuse to believe that August is the last bit of summer. I plan to make every moment count, filling my calendar with meaningful connections and memorable experiences. This month is all about cherishing friendships, creating memories, and soaking up the summer vibes before the pace changes in September. Whether it’s impromptu picnics in the park, late-night conversations on rooftops, or exploring new places with old friends, August will be dedicated to the relationships that bring joy and meaning to my life.
