September 2025 Recap

by | Last updated Oct 3, 2025 | 0 comments

Happy October, Beautiful People!! This year is really flying by it’s hard to believe that we’re actually in the fourth quarter. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a sense of excitement and wonder for the remainder of the year. Curious to see what I’ve been up to in September? Keep reading.

Fitness Goals: Achieved

September was a month for fitness challenges! One goal I had at the beginning of this year is to run a 10K and I finally did it this month! I had been putting this on my annual goals list for about three years and I never got around to getting it done. This year I asked my friend to hold me accountable and she found a race this month that would allow us to run it together. I am so pleased to say that I did it and I checked it off my annual goal list! While I wish I trained for it a little bit more, I’m proud of myself and this really reignited my love for running.

In addition to running a 10K, I also completed the 30 day challenge at one of the Yoga Studios I go to in New York! Balancing the 30 Days challenge in addition to Yoga Teacher Training was not easy and there were definitely days where I had to double up! But I am glad I was able to complete this task. In the process of doing this I found a new workout split that I like and there were also some new habits that I started that I am excited to start incorporating.

Speaking of Yoga Teacher Training, we are in the thick of it! There is so much information to learn but it is all so interesting and I love the community that I’ve built at the studio. Everyone has been so nice and encouraging and I’ve been getting a lot of signs that I am heading down the right path. I’ve been learning so much about myself in the past month and I can’t wait to see what else I uncover along this journey.

Fall Break

September I took off about a little over a week from my 9-5 job to give myself what I would like to call a Fall Break. I did this last year and I am looking forward to making this a yearly tradition. Over that time period I did a lot of yoga, read two long books, and just spent some time relaxing and ideating on what I want the rest of the year to look like and really soak in this season that I am in. I feel very very blessed and grateful to be in this season that I am. Everything is really working how I wanted to and I feel like I have a certain excitement and zest for life that I’m excited to carry with me till the end of the year.

One thing I’m recognizing is how important it is for me to take extended time away from different parts of my life. Whether it’s content creation, exercising, or software engineering, I need space away so that I can fully collect myself and really try to understand what it is that I want to do next. I have a couple projects that I’m excited to tackle in both my business, career, and personal life and I cannot wait to look back on this year and really be happy with what I have done. If you’re able to, I highly encourage you to take some extended time a way because it will be the thing that pushes you even more forward than you have ever thought before.

Q4 Begins! Let’s Make It Count

I am determined to make Q4 something that I can really be proud of. I’ll be completing my Yoga Teacher Training, writing more (I’ll still be on my blog but you can also find me on substack), and will hopefully find my way back into my entrepreneurship endeavors that feel good to me as a creator. I know that what is to come is going to be absolutely amazing and I’ll be enjoying the journey that it takes to get there.
