Happy March, beautiful people! February truly flew by faster than I could even process it! It feels safe to say that we are well into 2026. I don’t know where you are but here in New York City, the weather has been so cold and I am desperately anticipating summer. On another note, this is my first official monthly update since I laid out my 2026 goals and ambitions in January! Curious to see how February went? Keep reading.
Celebrating my Birthday

Probably the best part of last month was celebrating my birthday! This year was probably one of the first years that I was genuinely EXCITED to turn a new age. I had a birthday dinner, a game night, and a brunch that exceeded all of my expectations and really reminded me that I am truly so loved in this life. Aging is such a privilege and something that unfortunately not all of us get to do. I am entering this year feeling a lot more peace, assurance, and confidence that I am walking in my purpose and that this year is truly going to be MY YEAR. I’m so grateful for everyone who showed up and made my day special.

Anchoring in my Evening Routine
Both January and February have been a bit all over the place. Between lots of long travel, the weather being so cold and terrible, and my birthday, my mornings have been a little bit sporadic as opposed to structured in the way that they usually are. One thing that I have found to be very anchoring is really committing to my evening routine. It’s nothing super crazy (literally just brushing my teeth, doing my skincare, and journaling), but it has been something that I have been consistently been able to do no matter where I’ve been in the world and whatever time I end up falling asleep. It’s become a non-negotiable for me because it signals to my body and mind that the day is winding down, regardless of how chaotic things were. There’s something incredibly grounding about having that consistent ritual to look forward to.
Entering a Creative Flow State
Despite everything that has been going on, I feel like I am fully stepping and moving along in my content creator career. I am focusing on this blog, Substack and TikTok and it has been so energizing creatively. I feel like I am spilling out so many new ideas that I can’t wait to implement and it’s been awhile since I’ve felt that way in a long time. I have some pretty big goals for this year as a Content Creator and it is going to require me to really be committed and consistent and stay locked into the process and the journey. Within this next month, I plan on really revamping my creative systems which will make content creation not only easier but a lot more intentional and focused. I’m really proud of myself for showing up consistently, even when motivation wasn’t always there, because I know that consistency is what separates dreamers from doers. And this year is all about doing.
Back on My Notion Grind
If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know I LOVE Notion. However, if I’m being fully transparent, the past couple years my Notion workspace has been pretty dusty. I left things untouched because I felt that I didn’t really need them. Towards the end of the year, I realized that my Notion is truly the missing piece to making everything that I want to happen, happen. I have since cleaned up my Notion workspace and I’ve started tracking things on a consistent weekly basis. There’s something about seeing everything laid out visually that makes my goals feel more tangible and achievable. I’ve set up weekly reviews where I check in on my progress, celebrate wins (no matter how small), and adjust my approach where needed. Having this system in place has honestly been a game-changer for my productivity and peace of mind. If you’ve been sleeping on Notion or let your workspace collect dust like I did, I highly recommend giving it another chance. It might just be the thing that ties everything together for you too.
Leading More Difficult Projects at Work
After my trip in Nigeria, it was truly time to get back into work mode. My manager put me on a project to lead that is different than a lot of the projects that I’ve been worked on before. I have a feeling that this year is going to be a year at work that challenges me (not that I wasn’t being challenged before). However, I’m weirdly excited about it? I feel like I am truly being given the space to thrive at work and I am getting more and more confident in my abilities with each project being given. The opportunity to step outside my usual comfort zone and tackle something unfamiliar is exactly the kind of growth I’ve been seeking this year. I’m learning that growth isn’t always comfortable, but it’s always worth it.
Closing
One thing that I’ve learned is that from December – February are my months for regrouping and realigning for what I want the rest of the year to look like. For March, I’m excited to take that alignment and execute on the plan that I have in place. I’m looking forward to sharing more updates with you all throughout the year. Here’s to a productive and intentional March! If you’d like to get started aligning your goals and habits for the year, grab my Goals and Habits Tracker to get started.
